Bead Club
Happy New Year. The first bead club of 2010 is on 16th January
Darlington's Beading Club meet on the 3rd Saturday of each month from 10.30 to 2.30. Don't worry if you missed previous meetings - you're still welcome.
A little about me and what I hope to achieve:
I have been beading for over 20 years and teaching beading for the last 7. My students always want more, so I've decided to have a monthly social gathering. Beaders of all abilitys are welcome to meet from 10.30 to 2.30 the third Saturday each month at my studio in Clarks Yard. The first meeting we will discuss what people are looking for and how we can help eachother. (Suppliers, techniques, reference material etc) You can bring a project if you want to get stuck in and there is no charge for this first meeting. Future cost will be determined by numbers interested, cost of room hire and tea, coffee and biscuits;-) It should be between £3 and £5. It is in the town centre and there is some free parking nearby as well as a council car park.
Future meetings will be at the workshop if we can all fit comfortably ;-) otherwise I am looking into other venues nearby.
